Creed Fisher

Creed Fisher at The Barrelhouse Ballroom

If your idea of a good country song is one that sounds like somebody telling you what happened after work, Creed Fisher gives you plenty to listen for. Pay attention to where he lets a thought sit and where he pushes it through. The way a singer delivers a line can tell you just as much as the line itself. Creed Fisher comes to The Barrelhouse Ballroom in Chattanooga on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

The appeal of outlaw country is partly the room it leaves for a point of view. You can disagree with a narrator and still want to hear where the story goes. Give the words your full attention for a song, then listen again for what the instruments are doing underneath them. Fisher’s blend of older and newer country sounds gives those stories more than one way to land.

Kevin Thomas is also on the bill. A two-act night gives you a chance to hear how different singers handle some of the same country traditions. Bring the person whose old country records you’ve been borrowing ideas from and let them pick what you listen to on the drive.
