The Broken Hearts - Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
The Broken Hearts - Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers at The Barrelhouse Ballroom
A Tom Petty guitar figure can tell you what song you’re in before anyone opens their mouth. Hearing a tribute band play those parts in person gives you a chance to notice the work that goes into making them sound so natural. Pick a guitar line and listen to what holds it up. The Broken Hearts comes to The Barrelhouse Ballroom in Chattanooga on Friday, March 26, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.
There’s a reason those songs hold up when you strip away the memory of where you first heard them. The arrangements give each part a job. Once you’re in the room, pick out a rhythm or a line under the vocal and see how much it contributes to a song you thought you knew completely. You can get something out of it even when your favorite song stays at home.
The Broken Hearts are the performers on this bill. Bring somebody who knows Petty from road trips and somebody who got into those records years later. You don’t have to agree on a favorite song to enjoy hearing the catalog played by musicians who have spent time with its details.
Find ticket options for The Broken Hearts and make a Friday out of the Petty tribute.
