Carmen Lagala at The Comedy Catch

You walk into The Comedy Catch and before you even find your seat, you’re wondering what Carmen Lagala will confess first. Her humor is sly, self-aware, and delivered like a secret she’s willing to spill to a bunch of strangers. There’s an excitement in catching her in person, because her take is the kind you’ll want to repeat (or at least rephrase) all week.

Carmen’s set pulls from personal disasters, the strange etiquette of daily life, and whatever headline showed up on your phone last. She’s got a candid, sometimes rebellious style that finds laughs in moments most of us try to hide. The best stories come from those awkward gaps between what people should say and what they’re actually thinking. and Carmen is right at home there.
