Amber Autry

Amber Autry at Robert Kirk Walker Theatre

Pick out the friend who can’t keep a straight face when you’re both frustrated at the grocery store. That’s the person you want next to you when Amber Autry takes the stage at Walker Theatre in Chattanooga this November. These are the moments when a night out doesn’t just feel like a break, but like permission to laugh hard at the everyday nonsense that usually just fills a group text.

Amber Autry’s Nashville stand-up is powered by a kind of energy that keeps you on your toes. One minute she’s zeroing in on something painfully relatable, and before you’ve finished nodding, she’s pivoted to a punchline that catches the whole room off guard.

Comedy on a screen doesn’t challenge you to keep up with the timing quite like an in-person set. There’s this extra fun in catching every left turn a comic makes. especially when you both spot it a split second before the rest of the crowd. You get to exchange glances and laugh again at how often life hands you the same oddball situations she’s riffing on.

So round up your favorite partner-in-eye-rolls, grab a couple of tickets, and give yourselves an outing that’s one part high-energy comedy, one part shared therapy session. Find ticket options for Amber Autry at Walker Theatre and let the jokes do the heavy lifting for an evening.
