Shayne Smith at The Comedy Catch

Pick a friend who says exactly what they’re thinking, and a second friend who never expects what’s coming next. This is your crew for a night at The Comedy Catch when Shayne Smith brings his disarmingly funny brand of stand-up to Chattanooga. The real game isn’t who laughs first. it’s who gets caught off guard. Everybody will at least once, and nobody will take it the same way.

Smith’s comedy doesn’t just live in the jokes; it’s in the way he tells a story that starts out perfectly normal and veers into the utterly bizarre. You look at him. maybe expecting tough-guy punchlines. and instead get a personal confession about ghosts or a curveball life lesson.

There’s something special about comedy that only clicks in person. At The Comedy Catch, you’re not just watching; you’re picking up the guest’s reactions, the little moments between punchlines, and the way a story gets more ridiculous as the room gets warmer. Laughter comes out different when you can make eye contact with someone across the table. or with Shayne himself after a particularly strange reveal.

Don’t just settle for funny memes in a group chat. Grab actual tickets, settle into a cozy table in Chattanooga, and see how unexpected a night out can get. Find Shayne Smith’s live ticket options for The Comedy Catch and put a real story in your own lineup.
