Waitress

Waitress at Tivoli Theatre - Chattanooga

You might not know what to do with your own feelings until you see someone belt theirs out from a flour-dusted stage. Waitress knows how to hit that mix of hope and vulnerability. the ache you get when you’re happy and scared at the same time.

The Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga cues up a night where friendship is measured in refills and secrets are worried over while rolling dough. You’ll watch Jenna, a pie maker with a complicated marriage and a knack for recipes, puzzle out the ingredients for a better life. There’s room for laughter in this kitchen, and when the music swells, even the toughest choices get a little lighter.

Sara Bareilles’ songs stick. As soon as you hear the first few notes, you start rooting for Jenna and her diner crew. all loveable, flawed, and relentlessly hopeful. By the time the baking contest rolls around, you’ll want a piece of whatever they’re having. Seeing this story on stage makes the decisions, messes, and little victories feel true enough to take home.

Bring a friend who could use an evening out, or someone you’d trust to split a pie with. This isn’t just dinner theater. it’s a real, warmhearted musical made for a crowd that knows life rarely comes out perfect, but sometimes comes out sweet. Find ticket options for Waitress and let the story (and maybe a few cravings) carry you through the night.
